I recently designed a wildlife-inspired lantern for Dr.

The challenge of maintaining a simple design, as with the peacock lantern, yet keeping it expressive, meant I got caught up in fussy details way too easily. The end result is a silhouette of an Indiana crane wading in a foggy river bottom, framed by a cloud lift.

I hope you enjoy the result as much as Dr. Fred who said he had high expectations, and they were exceeded when he saw the design.
